Specification
All products are manufactured using 18 and 25mm thick MFC. All tops including desking, tables, pedestals and storage units incorporate 2mm PVC Heavy Duty edging tape.
Finishes
Board finishes are: Walnut (W995BS), Canadian Maple (H609CST), White (025TST), Silver (A235PERL), Oak (ID604), Calva Oak (ID302), Beech (ID381), Grey (IU112), Japanese Ash (ID348), Apple
(ID477) and Cherry (ID344).
Desking
All desking is constructed flat–pack and
comprises of two crucial components. One being the MFC Top of your choice and secondly the beam system under frame. The under frame consists of two crucial elements, namely the stylish
cable managed i-Leg and the telescopic beam, creating a robust and sound under frame. However, one of the great features of the effex beam system is that there are many other under frame configurations, as well as leg-sharing options, to suit your needs.
The metal work of this range is standard in a two tone powder coated finish. Bright silver is the core colour and is used on all structural components
whereas a darker silver finish is applied to all decorative components such as the leg cover panels as well as the curved modesty infill panel and some accessories.
Pedestals
A unique feature of this range is that it is offered in two finishes: a one tone and two tone option; meaning that a pedestal unit is broken up into two components: One – the carcase and Two – the face. With the two tone option, the carcase (sides, back, base-plinth) is offered in a silver MFC finish, with the face (top and drawer faces) available in any of our 11 colour finishes, creating a stylish and modern look. The one tone is simple. The entire unit is one finish, available in any of our 11 colours. Complementing these pedestals are stylish satin stainless steel Bar Handles. Pedestals are manufactured in 2, 3 or 4 and vertical drawer options in a mobile, static, rotating and leg support configuration, available with either standard 12mm black PVC drawer boxes(load capacity 25kg) or heavy-duty metal-sided drawer boxes(load capacity 35kg). All heavyduty drawers are supplied with an 18mm thick base. All vertical pedestals are available with accessories such as a CD Holder, two Universal Trays, a Pen Tray and a Suspension File Support.
Storage
Here again the unique feature of this range is that
it is offered in two finishes: a one tone and two
tone option; meaning that a storage unit is broken
up into two components: One – the carcase and
two – the face. With the two tone option, the
carcase (sides, back, base-plinth) is offered in a
silver MFC finish, with the face (top,
front and shelves where applicable) available
in any of our 11 colour finishes, creating a stylish
and modern look. The one tone is simple. The
entire MFC unit is one finish, available in any
of our 11 colours. Complimenting the storage
are stylish satin stainless steel Bar Handles and
silver tambour doors.
All storage units are supplied with 18mm thick
MFC backs. All MFC shelves in this range,
whether fixed or separate, are 25mm thick as
standard. Units are also supplied with a 75mm
base plinth and 25mm tops (unless otherwise
specified). All 525mm deep units are compatible
with Triumph metal shelving ccessories. Filing
cabinets are supplied as 2, 3 or 4 drawer options.
Anti-tilt drawers are a standard feature. All filing
drawers carry a load capacity of 45kg with front to
back filing. All crystal files on standard side filer
units run from side to side.
Packaging
Storage units and pedestals are supplied
assembled, protected by a thick cardboard box.
Heavy storage units have been fitted with
temporary castors, for transport purposes only.
These castors need to be removed once units are
installed in the office.
Desking is supplied flat packed for assembly on
site. Tops are packaged separately from the steel
under frame components. Tops are shrinkwrapped
and edge/corner protected. Steel
beam components are individually boxed or PVC
bagged (where applicable) and labelled for safe
and convenient handling and storage.
Accessories such as desking components,
desking screens, cable management etc. are
either boxed, PVC bagged or bubble wrapped.
It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure that building access is adequate before ordering.
